Glass Repairs
-
Repairs are tricky on Borosilicate (Pyrex) and Lead (Soft) Glass. It will require the glass to be slowly preheated in a kiln to high temperatures, repaired with the torch, and then annealed in a kiln. If there are other substances added to the glass (such as gold or paint, that has been applied), it may burn off or become discolored in the broken area.
